…“I’ve spent over ₦2 million fighting to get my daughter back… I’m now financially finished,” heartbroken father cries out, calling on Abians, activists, and Nigerians to intervene before tragedy strikes.
A heart-wrenching cry for help has emerged from Umuahia, Abia State, as Engr. Ogbenna Chukwuka, a native of Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area, pleads with Nigerians to come to his rescue over the alleged abduction of his 8-year-old daughter by his estranged wife and her new husband, who he claims is a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
In a pain-soaked video obtained by All Facts Newspaper, Engr. Chukwuka narrated how his once-peaceful marriage to Mrs. Prisca Nwanyieze Ndulaka turned into years of heartbreak, betrayal, and endless court battles. The marriage, solemnized on December 25, 2010, produced two daughters before it collapsed.
According to him, his wife left their home when their first child was just seven months old, only to resurface five years later — and again disappearing barely a year after, while pregnant.
“She later divorced me with the help of her mother, Mrs. Victoria Ndulaka. I went to court to make it official,” he said in tears.
Chukwuka revealed that in April 2025, his ex-wife remarried a pastor from RCCG in Anambra State. Before that, both families had agreed — in the presence of HRH Eze Linus Onuoha, the traditional ruler of Itu Olokoro — that he would take custody of their daughter, Blessing Ogbenna.
However, his ex-wife allegedly scaled a fence into his father’s compound with her new husband and mother to abduct Blessing in defiance of the agreement.
“They came through the block fence and forcefully took my daughter. Since then, I’ve not set my eyes on her,” he lamented.
The devastated father disclosed that he has reported the case to the Central Police Station, Umuahia, but it was never treated. Out of desperation, he petitioned the State CID, spending over ₦2 million in pursuit of justice — yet nothing was done.
Now, he says, he is financially and emotionally broken.
“I have lost everything fighting to get my daughter back. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. I beg the Abia State Government under Dr. Alex Otti, the Attorney General of Abia State, the Chief Judge of Abia, and the Commissioner of Police to intervene before this matter destroys me completely.”
Engr. Chukwuka also made a passionate appeal to RCCG’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to investigate the alleged involvement of one of his pastors in the abduction, saying his only desire is to reunite with his daughter, not to destroy anyone’s name.
He further alleged that some church officials, had identified the pastor involved but refused to disclose his identity.
Now, the broken father is calling on Olokoro people, social media influencers, activists, and Nigerians of goodwill to help him get justice and bring his daughter back home.
“Please, I beg Nigerians to help me find my daughter. I am dying slowly,” he cried.
As at the time of filing this report, neither the RCCG leadership nor Pastor Adeboye had made any public comment regarding the allegation.
