The management of Flo FM Radio Umuahia, Abia state, has assured of their readiness to synergize with Abia Online Media Practitioners Association (OMPAN) in the area of media outreach and information dissemination.

The Abia state Station Manager of Flo FM, Mr. Sampson Eze who disclosed this on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to his office in Umuahia by the Exco members of OMPAN, said Flo FM is disposed to partner with Abia Online Media Practitioners Association as a critical stakeholder and big player in the media industry.

According to him, “We are going to partner with you and we need to start from somewhere, you bring in your experiences and contacts, we rub minds and from there we begin.

” We can not avoid not being partners with you and we hope to make it bigger.

” Let us cooperate as a united force. What I am saying is that the cooperation that you seek we are ready to partner with you.”

He maintained that Flo FM Radio has embraced online media and that it has helped them a lot.

He further urged the online media practitioners to see themselves as big partners in the information and media dissemination industry, adding that online Media Practitioners are critical stakeholders that have a major role to play.

He congratulated the new executive officials for their emergence after the election, noting that the demand for their services is very critical.

Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of Online Media Practitioners Association (OMPAN) Chief Paddy Anyatowu said the new officials have to ask for collaboration with Flo FM radio as a player in the electronic media as well as to inform the management of Flo FM radio that OMPAN new Exco has emerged.
