Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, has summoned an emergency session of the upper legislative chambers ahead of the nationwide protest billed to kick-off on August 1st to 10th.
This is according to an internal memorandum from the Senate Clerk saying the Senate emergency session is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 31 July, 2024.
