Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 1,016 new coronavirus infections and 11 deaths from the novel disease complications in the last 24 hours.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) released this latest figures via it’s twitter handle.
The NCDC said that the new infections were reported from 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases across the country to 86,576, with 1278 deaths recorded.
