The Ohafia council of monarchs in Abia State has praised the efforts of the state deputy governor, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu, for his sole sponsorship of electricity restoration in the entire Ohafia Local Government Area.
The Paramount Chief of Ohafia, Professor E.U.L Imaga, and his cabinet members gave the praises during a courtesy visit by the Electricity Restoration Supervision and Monitoring Team at the palace of the paramount ruler, Chief Imaga, at Elu Ohafia.
The committee intimated the monarchs on the current stage of the project, as electricity would be restored within the next couple of weeks. The deputy governor, through the committee, requested the various community chiefs as a matter of safety to inform their various community constituents, whose electrical cables are in close contact with their roof or being used as cloth hangers to put the cables in their appropriate positions and desist from any act capable of electrocution.
Then Emetu reiterated the commitment of the administration of Dr. Alex Otti towards improving the livelihood and wellbeing of Abians.
Responding to the submission of the committee, the monarchs expressed their gratitude to the deputy governor for his passion towards fulfilling his promise and reaffirmed their unalloyed support to the administration of Dr. Alex Otti while praying God to always give them the enablement to bring the desired transformation to Abia State.
