A youth group known as Abia Youth Assembly of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) earlier today, Tuesday protested in large numbers around the Collation center of the Abia state Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The PDP protesters were seen carrying placards of various inscription as they chanted victory songs.

According to Engr Ikeoku Moses, President of Abia youth Assembly, “the election collation center at Obingwa local government was largely peaceful as there was no loss of life and property. He also added that for the interest of peace, INEC should accept the result from Obingwa LGA and declare the winner.

Engr Moses said: “Considering the fact that Obingwa has 25 percent of the population in Abia state, since 1999, people living in Obingwa LGA have been a determinant factor for whoever will emerges the governor of Abia State.”
