The people of Umuasua Autonomous Community in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, has congratulated the governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti “on his most deserved victory at the recently concluded governorship election in the state”.

The community in a congratulatory message co-signed by Mr Ozoemenam Igbokwe (President General) and Mr Emenike Iroegbu (General secretary) noted that Otti’s victory did not come as a surprise to them as he efficiently campaigned in the grass root areas and also remained resolute on his “desire to serve the common good of the people of Abia state”.

“…..your unique staying power fueled by the unflinching desire to serve the common good of the people of Abia state; your uncommon perseverance and unwavering focus; no one should have been in doubt or worried about your emerging victorious” the statement partly read.

They prayed that God should give the governor-elect the wisdom to surmount the numerous challenges facing the state.

“Given your normal humble disposition and humane nature, business acumen, astute managerial sagacity, love for the people, and hunger to make a difference and leave positive footprint in the sands of history, you have already been endued with the virtues and force of life required to surmount the enormous difficult tasks that await you.

“We pray for the wisdom in deploying these in the fulfilment of the obvious destiny- entrusted assignment before you of building a virile state almost from the scratch of giving every section a sense of belonging”.
