The Imo North senatorial election held across the local government area on Saturday witnessed turnout by voters.
Polling Units visited by CandidReporters.com in Unit 1, Ward 2, Unit 9,Ward 1, Unit 11,Ward 2 and Unit 1 Ward 1 in Okigwe local government area, of the state witnessed good turnout of voters.
Vote buying was witnessed in all wards visited. Some of the voters who spoke in anonymous to candidreporters.com said ” they are giving voters between 2,000 naira to 3,000 depending on the agreement reached.”
“If they give me I will collect, after all, vote doesn’t count in this country. Another voter said.”
However, security operatives were seen on various wards across the unit.
