The Abia State National Assembly Liaison Officer, Hon Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has commended the women of Bende for their “resilience, dedication, and the impactful role they play in their communities.”
Speaking as chairman at the 2025 Annual August Meeting of Bende Women, held on Friday at the LGA Field, Hon Chinasa praised the women for aligning with the vision of Governor Alex Otti. He noted that Governor Otti’s leadership has seen initiatives aimed at empowering women, enhancing their capacities, and promoting their participation in socio-economic development.
Contributing to the theme “Abia Women: United in Strength, Empowered for Purpose,” Hon Chinasa extolled the women for their unity and unique entrepreneurial spirit. He stated that this spirit remains “a beacon of hope and development, enabling them to contribute significantly to the strides being recorded in the state.”
Hon Chinasa charged the women to leverage the August Meeting platform to discuss and evolve strategies for optimizing opportunities presented by Governor Otti’s New Abia vision, promising to sustain his support for them.
