Mary Oleka Okpara, from the family of late Elder Okpara Onyekwere of Okagwo Item , Amachara, Ndi Uduka in Bende local government area on Saturday November 27, 2020 walked down the aisle with Amos Chinomso Vincent of Uhumuavuru family in Umuagu, Ohuhu, Umuahia North local government area of Abia State.
The blissful wedding event took place at the Evangelical Church Of Winning All (ECWA), Aba, Abia State.
The wedding event had attendance of friends and well wishers from various parts of the country to witness and wish the latest couple a happy married life.
The Bride, in an interview with pressmen narrated how she met the love of her life and gave advise to all spinsters aspiring to be taken to the alter soonest.
Her words: “We met through a friend and it lasted up to four to five months. Honestly I wasn’t expecting it to end up in marriage.
“What inspired me to leave the rest of my life with him was that I found out that he is a good person that I can rely on.
“I wasn’t expecting a perfect man but I got all I was looking for in a man. He is a straightforward person, he is the listening type, and he understands my mood and takes time to look at my face.
“He knows when am happy and angry, in fact, he is a trustworthy man.
“As regards his financial status, am okay, I won’t say he is rich or less, he is just okay for what I want, and I believe that every two good heads are better than one. I believe we will get to that level where God wants us to be”
“For those planning to get married, When making the choice of who to Marry, don’t let the financial aspect be a problem, in everything you want to do, put God first, both of you can join hands together to make it work and most importantly, in any situation, God has a reason for bringing both of you together.
“Most ladies are looking for a rich man because they don’t want to suffer but with understating and hard work, both of you can thrive” Mary Chinomso advised.
The groom, Amos Chinomso Vincent also spoke to pressmen about how excited he is and also gave advice to bachelors who are willing to settle down soonest with the right person.
His words: “For me, getting married to Mary, my wife, makes me feel as if I have arrived, she is a perfect woman, she is the type that I have ever dreamed of.
“Courtship is not all about spending lengthy time with each other, but how you use the time you spent with each other.
“A lot of people dated for years and they never ended up in marriage, it’s all about understanding and how you utilize the time.
“I married an excellent woman, she is very intelligent and an understanding type, everything you think of a woman, she has it, in fact she is a perfect woman. Her social life moved me too; everybody wants to get to know her.
“The day I married her, it was difficult for the family to let her go. Am really in the right place.” Amos Chinomso Added.
He however adviced all those aspiring to get married to not look at beauty and how pretty the woman is .
“Look for something you can hold on in that woman. Beauty can fade with age.” Amos Chinomso Vincent advised.
