Destiny Akaraka: A Man On a Date With Destiny (Opinion)

There is something in a name. If you doubt it, ask Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu. Ask me of a man who has a date with destiny, and I will show you Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu. The axiom that destiny can only be delayed but cannot be denied is true of Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu. He is a testimony to the fact that some things are destined to be, but just takes a couple of tries to get there.

That Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu has finally achieved his dream of representing his people in the legislature is something that was long ordained by God, and awaiting the appropriate time to manifest. God intentionally delayed the realization of this dream for a purpose best known to Him, hence He chose the last election to place the crown of glory on the head of Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu.

Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu is widely loved by his people for so many reasons. His ever infectious smile and humility are traits that are worth emulating. His friendliness knows no age or gender. His philanthropy is unequaled while his level of honesty is unparalleled. It is worth mentioning that his respect for elders is legendary.

Despite his mandate being fraudulently taken away in 2019, Destiny remained on the side of the people. He continued to show love and empathy. He continued his usual life of free-mindedness, charity and friendliness which earned him the name ‘Street Boy’. Little wonder that the people of Aba North rewarded him by voting massively for him this time as they did in 2019. That which the enemy stole in 2019, was restored to him in 2023.

As the battle on who becomes the next Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly hots up, Destiny believes that it is God that crowns kings. He has entrusted his faith and fate in God. But it is important to point out that Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu possesses all the qualities of a good leader. His peaceful disposition will enger harmony between the executive and the legislature. He possesses the character, courage, capacity and competence to pilot the affairs of the legislature. His experience as a former TC councilor is an added advantage

Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu’s ascension to the exalted seat of the Speaker of the 8th Abia Assembly will mark a turning point in Abia State. He is a man destined for greatness, and a man on a date with destiny. Let the will of God prevail in the political life of Destiny.
