Chief Chinasa Leads Agubende Movement On Condolence Visits

Members of the AguBende Movement recently embarked on condolence visits to the people of Amaedo Autonomous Community in Lohum Imenyi and Amaohoro Nkpa Community, both in Bende Local Government Area, to commiserate with them on the death of their kins.

Under the leadership of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Leader of the Labour Party in Bende, the condolence train first stopped at the Royal Palace of Edo 1 of the Amaedo Autonomous Community, where the Movement formally commiserated with the people over the loss of their traditional ruler, Eze Engr Okechukwu Agoh.

Subsequently, the train moved to the Nkpa country home of Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), where they condoled with the family over the death of their mother and matriarch, Deaconess Mercy Ugboaja.

Speaking at both locations, Chief Chinasa consoled members of the bereaved families on their loss and assured them of the continued support of the AguBende Movement, especially during the period of their grief. He subsequently prayed for the eternal repose of their souls.

The team was received at Amaedo Autonomous Community by members of the Eze in Council and other village heads while Eze Joseph Ugboaja, younger brother of the NLC General Secretary welcomed them to Amaohoro Nkpa.

On Chief Chinasa’s entourage were Chief Okechukwu Ochiobi, APP Candidate for Bende South Constituency in the 2023 General Election, Hon Obioma Iheumwumere, Councillor representing Uzuakoli Ward in Bende Local Government Council and other prominent members of AguBende Movement.
