Nigeria’s President , Muhammadu Buhari is seeking for a fresh amendment in the recently signed petroleum Industry Act, (PIB).

President Buhari wrote to the House of Representatives seeking the removal of the Ministers of Petroleum Resources and Finance from the board of the agencies created under the law.

The adjustment was contained in the letter from the president which was read on the floor of the House by the Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.

In a response, the House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila said the letter will be referred to the appropriate committee of the House for immediate action.
