The federal high court sitting in Umuahia, the Abia state in it’s judgment has ordered the federal government to pay Nnamdi Kanu the sum of 500 million naira compensation for damages on the infamous unlawful expulsion or extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria.

In the Appeal case No CA/ABJ/CR/ 625/2022 between Nnamdi Kanu vs the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nnamdi Kanu’s counsel, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor had prayed the court on 8 count and all went in favour of Nnamdi Kanu in the judgment.

The presiding Judge, Evelyn Ayandike who gave the judgment on Wednesday also requested that Nnamdi Kanu should be returned to status quo.

During the court sitting, the counsel to the federal government was absent even as the judgment was delivered.

Candidreportes.com recalls that Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, filled a suit against the federal government of Nigeria on the aimed of redressing the infamous unlawful expulsion or extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria.
