Passengers who boarded commercial vehicle of Benue Links Transport Company has been hijacked by hoodlums at Eke, along the Otukpo-Otukpa Road in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State. The incident took place at approximately 6:30 pm on Sunday, with reports indicating that the attackers robbed all the passengers before taking them into the bush. The memorial park in Ondo built to honour and immortalise the worshippers of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, killed in 2022 has been demolished by Ondo government. The memorial park was built by a former governor of the state, the late Rotimi Akeredolu.
