Governor Alex Otti of Abia state has revealed that his administration has paid N72 billion from the N138 billion debt it inherited from past administrations of Abia state since assumption of office. Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti has approved a new salary scale for Abia Health Care workers, Abia State Health Workers Salary Scale (ASHWOSS) with effect from May 1st 2025. The husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi, Peter Nwachukwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging. Justice Nwosu-Iheme of a FCT High Court Wuse Zone 2 on Monday in Abuja gave the verdict in Abuja.
