Former Adamawa State Governor, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has emerged the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Candidreporters.com gathered that Senator Adamu emerged through a consensus arrangement after other aspirants withdrew from the race.

Also elected through consensus is Emma Enukwu from Enugu State as the Deputy National Chairman, South.

Other candidates were confirmed through voice vote at the ongoing national convention of the party.

The Nasarawa senator is the consensus candidate endorsed by President Muhammadu Buhari, as well as the APC governors.

Badaru, who is the returning officer for the convention, also announced a list of other consensus candidates who were also elected using the voice vote method.
