Ambassador Osita Offor “Ultimate Commander”, the Abia North Senatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has blamed to the ruling Abia government for the slow development of Abia North Senatorial district.

Amb.Osita said if he was a senator for Abia North, the Smart city project he proposed for Abia wouldn’t have been abandoned.

The ADC Senatorial Candidate claimed that the government of Abia state thwarted his efforts to make Abia North a smart city.

The former champion wrestler gave the hint when he featured on the most publicized Abia State Election Debate aired live on several radio stations in the state on Friday.

Ambassador Osita claimed that he had brought in investors to power the smart projects that would have created jobs for teaming youths and make the state a smart city, “the first in west Africa.”

In his words: “We planned to build 3000 industrial shops in Abia, 1000 4-Star facility hospital and 300 rooms Five Star hotel and a whole lot of ware houses and a banking hall.”

Amb.Osita also hinted that the government signed the contract and recommended his team to the ministry of aviation but the project never saw the light of the day.

He however added that if he becomes a senator, he will create laws that will not allow such “projects to die a natural death” .

“Although it is part of the projects I want to bring to Abia North, the funding for that is available and I’m moving it to Abia North”. Amb. Osita said.

Osita also said that when elected, he will make laws that will protect the forest of Abia North. He also added that the mineral resources in Abia North was part of his proposed project for Abia state but “the current Abia government” never allowed it to see the light of the day.
