Amadeus University has established a modern and technologically advanced JAMB Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre on the Campus to increase the visibility of the University amongst prospective admission candidates as the world class University is also set for the grand opening ceremony and maiden matriculation scheduled for February 8, 2025.
Amadeus University is situated at Amizi, Ikwuano local government area, Abia State, Nigeria.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Samuel M. Nzotta during a press conference held on Thursday at the University campus, he said the CBT Centre shall positively affect the inflow and choice of students into the University, during the annual JAMB admission exercise and also to reduce the stress candidates undergo during yearly admission cycle.
Prof. Nzotta also announced that the official opening and maiden matriculation ceremony will be an epoch-making event as the University is expected to have in attendance Governor Alex Otti of Abia State and President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Gov. Otti is expected to be the Guest of Honour and Senator Akpabio to perform the official unveiling of the University.
Also expected during the event are JAMB and NUC officials, and Vice-Chancellors of various Universities in the South-East Zone of Nigeria in addition to other dignitaries.
An assessment tour done by journalist on the University’s facilities and environment revealed that the University has put in place an excellent teaching and learning environment as modern classrooms were seen with smart boards to facilitate effective teaching.
The Laboratories are top notch with modern equipment and technology needed for the unique programmes being offered.

Further assessment on the University also showed that a high-quality hostel accommodation has been provided for the students and there is availability of constant power supply and water to the classrooms laboratories and hostels.
A Students Centre for use by the students is very functional. The centre provides indoor sporting activities, recreational facilities and relaxation spots for students.
A Students cafeteria is available in the University and very functional.
The medical facilities are excellent and very modern. The University medical centre is well equipped with high quality Doctors and Nurses.
The University also has a well structure and modern library which can help students access their materials virtually through the availability of steady internet service.
On transportation, the school management has provided electric powered vehicles to convey the students from one point to another.
The security arrangement on the campus is good as the University has installed closed circuit cameras (CCTV) in various facilities on campus especially the hostels. Also, solar powered street lights are available around the University campus.
On scholarship, the Founder/Proprietor of the University and the Grooming Centre, Lagos have established scholarship schemes for indigent students of the University and Staff members of Grooming Centre who gained admission into the University.
The management also hinted that there is a scholarship scheme for best performing students in all the various faculties of the University and a student loan scheme has also been established by the Grooming Micro Finance Bank, a member of Grooming Centre Ecosystem.
