The Electricity Workers on Tuesday celebrated in grand style the 60th birthday of Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
Ajaero who also doubles as the General Secretary of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) was celebrated in a blissful atmosphere at the headquarters of the union, located in Lagos.
The President of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), Comrade Adebiyi Opeyemi Adeyeye, led Labour leaders and Secretariat staff to celebrate their leader and thanked God for his infinite mercies upon his life. Comrade Adebiyi poured encomium on the leadership of Comrade Joe Ajaero as he described him as a visionary leader who has transformed the Labour movement of the country.
As they celebrated NLC President, they prayed for God’s continuous protection upon his life even as he continued to champion workers’ right nationally and globally.
