Professor Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne on Wednesday picked the peoples Democratic party (PDP) expression of interest and Nomination form that qualifies him to contest for the Abia State gubernatorial primary election of the state.
The PDP primaries is scheduled to hold in May 2022.
Prof Ikonne picked the interest form at the party’s secretariat in Umuahia, Abia State. He was accompanied by a foremost Ukwa Ngwa Elder Elder John Nwagborogwu, former speaker Abia state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Christopher Enweremadu, Nnenna Elendu Ukeje, Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe and many others.
Prof. Ikonne is the immediate past past Vice Chancellor of Abia state University, Uturu.
